Leisa: Hello, I’m Leisa Holland Nelson and welcome to another edition of Women Mean Business where we’re going to take you up close and personal with extraordinary women doing extraordinary things. My guest today is Allie Danziger, Founder and President of Integrate Agency; Allie, welcome to Women Mean Business.

Allie: Thank you so much.

Leisa: Oftentimes I’ll say to my guests I bet you didn’t dream of doing what you’re doing when you were a little kid in the backyard, but I have a feeling you might have had this plan; tell me how you got here.

Allie: So this definitely was part of my plan, definitely did not think I would be here at such a young age to be honest but I always dreamt of owning my own business and owning a PR agency. PR was just always something that I didn’t really even know what it was necessarily when I was a kid but I really felt this connection to kind of being behind the camera but telling other people how to portray themselves and how to talk to their audiences.

Leisa: And that’s how you see PR? Describe it again for me because I think that’s very interesting.

Allie: So in my mind PR is we help our clients decide what to communicate to their audiences and on social medias we’re actually doing that on their behalf as we talk to their audiences, handle customer service issues, come up with promotions that help to communicate whatever it is that they need to communicate to the right people.

Leisa: So you’re a director.

Allie: A little bit, behind the scenes, yes.

Leisa: Very cool.

Allie: Except for right now I guess.

Leisa: Thank you for being here.
