Women Mean Business – Allie Danziger

Women Mean Business | Episode: 511 | Guests: Allie Danziger | 0
More extraordinary career advice from an extraordinary woman. Leisa Holland-Nelson interviews Allie Danziger, the president and founder of Integrate, a media agency.

Leisa: Hello, I’m Leisa Holland Nelson and welcome to another edition of Women Mean Business, where we’re going to take you up close and personal with extraordinary women doing extraordinary things. My guest today is Allie Danziger, Founder and President of Integrate Agency here in Houston; Allie, welcome to Women Mean Business.

Allie: Thank you so much, thanks for having me.

Leisa: I love having you here. You’re so successful at a really young age, imagine we have a young woman aspiring to achieve your success, what advice would you give her?

Allie: I think it’s just to ask questions. We get a lot of advice to fake till you make it, which is good advice and you have to do that sometimes, but just to shut up and listen and ask other successful professionals how they’ve gotten there, what they’ve done, what advice they have. People like to talk about themselves so if you just take it in and listen to what they have to say you can really learn so much.

Leisa: I have another question for you, what’s the best advice you got?

Allie: Well probably to do that.

Leisa: I mean do you remember a single moment that somebody said something and a bell like rang?

Allie: Someone – one of my intern bosses said to me why be good when you dream of being great? And that – I think about that all the time; why just do it to check the box if there’s an opportunity to do something better? So that’s something that really sticks with me a lot.

Leisa: I love that, thank you.

Allie: Thanks.

Leisa: There you have it, extraordinary advice from an extraordinary woman. I’m Leisa Holland Nelson, President and Co-founder of ContentActive, Houston’s leading web and mobile design and development company. You can find me at ContentActive.com or follow me on Twitter @LHNelson. We’ll be back again next week with another edition of Women Mean Business.
