Leisa: Hello, I’m Leisa Holland-Nelson and welcome to another edition of Women Mean Business where we’re going to take you up close and personal with extraordinary women doing extraordinary things. My guest today is Nory Angel, Executive Director and CEO of SER Jobs for Progress; Nory, welcome to Women Mean Business.
Nory: Thank you Leisa.
Leisa: You’ve been so successful and I know you’re really young, so to ask you what you tell the next generation sounds silly, however there’s a whole audience out there that would love to achieve the success you’ve achieved; what advice do you have for them?
Nory: I’d say that it’s really important to start with a vision for what you want in your life and really be clear about it, visualize it and then after you have that vision you’ve got to commit. And making a commitment to that vision means you’re all in; you’re willing to fail as big as you succeed which means that you’re going to take the risk to make that happen.
Leisa: Thank you.
Nory: You’re welcome.
Leisa: There you have it, extraordinary advice from an extraordinary woman. I’m Leisa Holland-Nelson, President and Co-founder of ContentActive, Houston’s leading web and mobile technology company.
