Women Mean Business – Steffi Claiden

Women Mean Business | Episode: 505 | Guests: Steffi Claiden | 0
Today’s extraordinary woman provides support and recognition for family offices. Leisa Holland-Nelson interviews Steffi Claiden, founder and CEO of the Family Office Review, a publisher of content for high net worth individuals.

Leisa: Hello, I’m Leisa Holland-Nelson, and welcome to another edition of Women Mean Business, where we’re going to take you up close and personal with extraordinary women doing extraordinary things. My guest today is Steffi Claiden, founder and CEO of the Family Office Review. Steffi, welcome to Women Mean Business.

Steffi: Thank you, Leisa. It’s great to be here.

Leisa: Tell us about Family Office Review.

Steffi: Well, this is a company I founded four years ago. I had been a strategy consultant, and I ran another publication, and those were for wealth advisors. I wanted to do something more for the wealth holders, the family office side, so I started my own.

Leisa: So tell me what you’re actually doing. What does the publication do?

Steffi: Lots of things, and we’ve gone past just being a publication as well. The publication is online, and we just formed a partnership with a company in England, where I live, to create a hard-copy magazine as well, because hard copy, print, is actually coming back in a little bit. Imagine that. So we publish content, really high-quality content that talks about the issues, both the monetary issues and then the lifestyle issues that people have. And then we’ve also got the Family Office Capital Network, which talks about direct investing. And I just launched Family Office Women International, because I’m always meeting so many wonderful women and introducing them, and I decided to institutionalize that part to get the women connecting all over the world.

Leisa: Absolutely wonderful. Thank you so much for being with us today.

Steffi: It’s great to be here.

Leisa: There you have it, another extraordinary woman doing extraordinary things. I’m Leisa Holland-Nelson, the president and cofounder of ContentActive, Houston’s leading Web and mobile design and development company. You can find me at ContentActive.com or follow me on Twitter @LHNelson. We’ll be back again next week with another edition of Women Mean Business.
